PATROLLING

These sections will deal with techniques that can be used while hunting for target contacts.  The two areas of particular concentration will be the Chart and RADAR functions. RADAR will aid you in locating a contact using a means other then by a visual sighting. Once you have made a visual, the Chart function will help you to plan your attack. It is important to note that both of these tools are a tremendous aids during the execution of the attack, so it is highly beneficial to be able to understand and utilize them to the fullest. If you are conducting a patrol during the early stages of the war, you would not have the availability of RADAR or the bathythermograph. Technological advancements and improvements in equipment will be added as would be historically accurate.
